Objective

Ashiana Homes wanted an online presence solution that sets it apart from the most real estate developers in its segment through visual appeal & content design and gives in-depth information of its upcoming projects, projects being executed, construction update etc. to its prospective customers so as to create an image of a reliable developer in surfers mind.

The client also wanted to create a secure access customer zone that would allow their customers track the status of their project, view the details of their booking (property/ number/ type/ floor plans/ layout plan/ customer details etc.) with the company along with advanced communication tools that would help them track their payments (past and future), view alerts from the developer, track their payment schedule and open a duplex mode of communication with the developer/ representative.

Solution Proposed

A state of the art theme based website was created and deployed for the client at www.ashianahomes.co.in with the sole aim of branding the organization as a progressive and future focused developer with a proven track record. Details of ongoing and upcoming projects were given along with details of financial partners, 3d imagery, actual site pictures and eBrochures so as to entice the prospects.

A separate emphasis was given to query management mechanism so that each and every query besides being emailed also was stored in a database for the management to track the responses and make sure that none of the queries went unattended.

A dedicated zone for existing customers was developed which they could access using their unique username and password and gain access to their payment history, communication history, booking details, important announcements for customers besides opening up trouble tickets with the management of the organization through a state of the art grievance readdress system. The customer zone helped the client create a foolproof mechanism for communicating with its clients.

To make sure that the clients are well informed on the construction status of their project pictures of actual site are being shown to them online and they keep changing those on a weekly basis. A newsletter subscription keeps the clients always in touch with latest happening in the organization.

To make sure that there is no duplication of effort on data entry part their existing offline software database was configured to synchronize with the online application database automatically twice every day. This prevented the organization to enter details on payment receipts, change of name/ ownership/ booking etc. separately for the web application. Though the customer zone is residing on a separate URL the access point for the same has been created from the business website itself.

The whole site was powered with a custom developed content management solution and was developed using ASP.Net with SQL 2005 database at the backend.

Outcomes

The client becomes one of the India's first few real estate companies who have given a web access to their customers to track their bookings/ payments/ construction progress etc. thereby maintaining full transparency. Query management application deployed on the website has a played a vital role in assisting the management and marketing force do justice to the leads and track the responses in most effective manner.

Performance Update

The website along with Customer Zone (CRM Application) which is widely being used and appreciated by its clients for various upcoming properties has been running successfully since March 2008 and has yielded positive results to the client both in terms of branding & business generation as well as taking care of the existing clients.
